The City of Placerville has a multitude of special events that occur within the City limits, including: the county fair, parades, wine tasting and other events. Officers and Volunteers assist at these events by providing traffic and crowd control. "Cadets" and "SHIELD" are available upon request to assist with non hazardous activities at special events upon request.

Officers are also available to assist with special events.
