Location:
Gold Bug Park is located 1 mile north of Highway 50 on Bedford Avenue in Placerville, CA, at 2635 Gold Bug Lane. Get directions to the Gold Bug Park.

Park Entrance, Parking, Hiking and Picnic Areas:
There is NO CHARGE for entrance into the park or for day use of picnic areas and trails. Parking is FREE.

Park Services Hours:
April thru October 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Daily
November thru March 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM Weekends Only
(These hours apply to Gold Bug Mine, the Hendy Stamp Mill, Hattie’s Museum, and the Gift Shop. Be sure to arrive before 3:30 PM for your mine tour…..we close at 4 PM.)

Gold Bug Mine:
Admission to Gold Bug Mine includes a self-guided audio tour, a hardhat, and admission to the museum, Hendy Stamp Mill and Blacksmith Shop.

2 years and under Free
All persons under the age of 18 muct be accompanied by an adult.

Hendy Stamp Mill:
Admission to the Hendy Stamp Mill and Blackmith Shop are included with your paid admission to Gold Bug Mine.

Gem Panning:
Arrangements for Gem Panning can be made at Hattie’s Gift Shop.
$2.00 per hour (Fee includes pan rental.) The Gem Panning troughs may be closed for the winter so call ahead to fin out. They typically reopen in early April.
