National Night Out (NNO) rides into town once a year, a nationwide effort led by the National Association of Town Watch to bring folks together, strengthen neighborly bonds, and keep our communities safe and lookin’ out for one another. Come the first Tuesday in August, the whole community gathers ‘round with local law enforcement for some good ol’ fashioned fellowship—think backyard BBQs, hot dogs on the grill, chips, and cold drinks, all kindly provided by generous sponsors. The Placerville Police Department is always aimin’ to make each year better than the last and could use a few extra hands. Whether you’re willin’ to host a shindig in your own neighborhood or lend a hand with the day’s activities, there’s a place for you at the table.

Placerville's National Night Out is funded solely by donations and cannot do it without help from our generous sponsors. Your financial support can make a big difference in the lives of our residents and our community. We encourage support through monetary or gift card donations, but we also accept product donations as well. Donations can be made to The Placerville Police Department and may be tax-deductible.
