The El Dorado Trail is a multi-use trail that runs through the City of Placerville.  Hours of operation are from dawn to dusk. Trailhead parking in the city is located at the Placerville Station located at 2970 Mosquito Road, Placerville, CA.  A class 1 bike path heads east towards Camino, or west into the city.  Main Street is the El Dorado Trail between Bedford and ForniRoad.  The Placerville Bike Shop rents bikes.  Fundraising and special events on the trail need to complete an application  with the city.
