Councilmember Gotberg

Current term: 2022-2026

Nicole was elected to the City Council in November 2022.  Prior to being elected to the City Council, she served on the Placerville Planning Commission for 2 years and the Parents, Family, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) Placerville Chapter Board of Directors for 6 years.  Nicole is a Geologist who works as an environmental consultant.  She received her Masters degree in Geosciences from Princeton University and Bachelors degree in Geology from the University of California Davis.  She was born in Sacramento, CA, and lived in a number of different places throughout the world including New Zealand and Peru before settling down in Placerville in 2016.  She has done volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity building houses for families in California, Central America, Asia, and Africa.  In her free time she likes to go hiking, snowshoeing, out to eat at local restaurants, wine tasting, and swing dancing.
