Placerville's 2019 Community Day of Service - Rise & Shine
Published on Apr 01, 2019 at 05:06p.m.
Saturday, April 27th, Placerville Community Services will host its 4th annual Rise & Shine Comunity Day of Service, a free event where we lend our skills and muscle to fix up, clean up, and conserve our community parks and trails.
You will meet at the project site you select at 8 am. Afterward, about noon, we'll gather for lunch at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds for lunch and visiting. This year, many of our community's churches will all be participating and posting projects so we can really serve together as community members. Sign up wherever you'd like to serve and meet your neighbors and new friends. You'll have more project options than ever!
2 Steps to Register:
1-Tell us which group brought you to this event, if any, by choosing the appropriate "I came from..." ticket. We appreciate you!!
2-Choose a project - in the form of a "ticket" below so you'll know what to expect/bring to do your part. The project sponsor provides materials like garbage bags, paint, brushes, etc, but you may want your gloves, weedwhacker or hedge trimmers from home).
* You'll start at your worksite, sign in, and pick up your shirts. As we finish, or at 12, we'll meet up at the Fairgrounds where our lunch-making volunteers will have your lunch ready to pick up and enjoy with your team and we'll take a group photo for the newspaper at 12:30
Register early so we can get you a T-shirt and you'll receive any updates!
Alternatively, you may register by calling the Community Services office at 530.642.5232
