SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOLS PEDESTRIAN SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS
LOCATION/DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The project is located in the City of Placerville in El Dorado County. The Work to be done is shown on the Plans, described in the Special Provisions and generally consists of, but is not limited to: Location 1: Canal Street Provide and install solar-powered wireless in-roadway crosswalk lighting system with push button actuator and all necessary controls. Place two vehicle speed feedback signs as shown on the project plans and within these specifications. Tie the two systems together such that westerly sign flashes “PEDS IN WALK” when the crosswalk is activated.
Location 2: Schnell School Road Provide and install solar-powered wireless in-roadway crosswalk lighting system with push button actuator and all necessary controls. Place two vehicle speed feedback signs as shown on the project plans and within these specifications. Tie the two systems together such that signs flash “PEDS IN WALK” when the crosswalk is activated. Construct two curb ramps as shown on the plans.
Project plans and specifications can be obtained at the City of Placerville City Hall, 3101 Center Street, Placerville, CA 95667 for a non-refundable fee of $20. If requested, project plans and specifications can be mailed for a non-refundable fee of $40.

EL DORADO TRAIL SLURRY SEAL
LOCATION/DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The project is located in the City of Placerville, El Dorado County on the El Dorado Trail from Mosquito Road to Jacquier Road. The work to be done generally consists of, but is not limited to: Hot mix asphalt concrete patch paving, surface preparation, crack sealing, placement of a Type I Slurry Seal per Caltrans Standard Specification 37-2, placement of decomposed granite shoulder backing, and pavement markings. Other items or details not mentioned above, that are required by the Plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions, shall be performed, constructed or installed. Project plans and specifications can be obtained at the City of Placerville City Hall, 3101 Center Street, Placerville, CA 95667 for a non-refundable fee of $20. If requested, project plans and specifications can be mailed for a non-refundable fee of $40.
