David Machado was elected to the City Council in November, 2008. Prior to his election to the City Council, Dave served on several City committees, and is the current Chair of the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Development Program.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University and has been a City resident for four years. He is a local business owner and has two children, Lindsay and Greg.
